Links to Local Resources

We are fortunate to be in an area where many people are working through organizations to support sustainable agriculture, food access, and environmental stewardship. The following organizations are a few of the many that the co-op supports through collaborations and donations.

Just Roots Community Farm  Just Roots is a non-profit community organization located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Their mission is to connect people with the land, the infrastructure and the know-how necessary to make locally grown food accessible to all.

The Northeast Organic Farming Association, Massachusetts Chapter (NOFA/Mass) is a community including farmers, gardeners, landscapers and consumers working to educate members and the general public about the benefits of local organic systems based on complete cycles, natural materials, and minimal waste for the health of individual beings, communities and the living planet.

Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA) strengthens local agriculture by building connections between farmers and the community.

The New England Farmers Union (NEFU) is a membership organization with the mission to increase the economic viability of family farms and fishing operations, to foster the development of sustainable food production in New England and to invest in nutrition education and increase connections between farmers and consumers.
